I may need to read a little more in this thread, but Cause, you bought this stuff on credit but they won't give you a refund on your subwoofer purchase? That sounds a bit jacked to me. Maybe a few choice words to them will change their mind.

Also, I remember you mentioning something about possibly getting the new 10-inch Klipsch sub. Any way you can supply a model number for both? I'd like to know their specs so we have something to talk about the next time we play a game.

There is some new news, though. I called up BB and talked to the guy I'd been talking too all along (Ryan), and told him I just wanted the sub I ordered, and nothing else. Ryan had been on vacation, so the guy I was working with while he was gone was trying to set me up with a sub I didn't order. Anyway, Ryan told me that he's already got a sub coming from Klipsch that he had special wrapped. Apparently, Klipsch admitted to them that they've had continuing problems with. Now why they haven't changed their packaging to fix it, I really don't know.

So, I should be getting my sub soon, in one piece, and a $100 gift card along with it. I'll probably use the $100 gift card towards a blue ray player. I'm about ready to invest in one.

If anyone can suggest one to me, I'd appreciate it. A PS3 isn't what I'm looking for, because I'll NEVER play any of the games.

i dont ever game on my ps3, but i do love it as a media machine and BD player. with the prices (last i looked) it makes the most sense financially to get a ps3. the upscaling on it is amazing as well, i own a samsung upscaling dvd player and own(ed) the hd-dvd add-on and neither of these players even compared to the upscaling of the ps3, some dvds are upscaled so well, that to my untrained eyes, i cant tell much of a difference between them and a BD movie. im not on 1080p either tho.

I replied in your other thread concerning the PS3 as a BR player. I concur with namehater on it's excellence as a BR only player. In fact I think it could be sold as a BR player that also has the ability to play video games.

That's what everybody says. I was actually wanting something that wasn't a PS3, but that's ok! I'll look at the PS3's. It's just a lot of money for a PS3, although I supposed I'd spend a great deal on any Blu Ray player.
