| DVE: HD-DVD Edition Delayed I read reports from Highdefdigest.com that the Digital Video Essentials: HD-DVD Edition was delayed a couple weeks. Somewhat of a bummer for me because lookin' forward to properly calibrating my system!
Anyway, it moved from Nov 14th to December 5th.

-Brad | What was the problem with the sub calibration? I never had a problem with it. Using Avia/DVE/receiver setup the sub mic'd within a db of each other. The problem a lot of people ran into with DVE was the sub frequency was a very narrow frequency, around 65 hz if I remember right, and interfered with room nodes worse than Avia. If you didn't have a properly eq'd sub you would get an incorrect reading compared to Avia which used a much wider frequency tone. | | |

| Jon, I have heard that as well, but on a calibrated sub I could never get it to manifest that. I heard that when using a Ratshack meter, which was innacurate in the lower frequencies, they balanced each other out and were pretty much even. | | |

| Probably, as a preorder. That does sound cheap for worst buy though. | | |
