Or can this site be painfully slow? Sometimes, it seems as thought I can't access it at all. Then, I get the variety of "server errors", that a lot of us have been seeing. Compared to other forums I visit on a regular basis, this one just doesn't move as smooth. Are we not spending enough on server speed/quality? Or, am I just being critical?

Thoughts?

It is moving slow for me at times too. Perhaps it is that new way of marking posts read? (which is great btw)

I'll get the database error, or the page not found 500 error. At times it seems to move faster. I recall Peench mentioning that the company keeps dodging the issue. So while it sucks, it seems the team is doing all they can.

Yep, slow and problems loading. The host always has one excuse or another. We know about it and all the bitching in the world to these guys doesn't seem to help. We were down completely again today and when I called they have no way to check over our past problems. Lame.

Anyway, its known, we're trying to deal with them and hopefully once we get a revenue stream working we can try another option.

I can honestly open 5 or 6 other forums, and start clicking on threads before the main PGL page even loads. I get frustrated very easily with such things and I need to relax, lifes 2 short.

I'll say this, most slow boards that frustrate me are vBulletin types. I dont know if its just the ones I go to but its very common. The damn temp Invision one flew right along

Thats not to say it still would. Ignore my ramblings, worked 14 hours today and Im grumpy

We should have a section called Fight Club, where you go and fight with people to get rid of stress. Outside of that section, all is well...

At least you guys are aware of it. I have been having a fit getting on to the site and looking at anything. Thats why I have only posted about 2 things in over a week

I think we're going to have to add something about "meaningful posts" in the terms of service. Something where we can legally kick Keezyers (myself included) out of a thread and be like "you need to start posting meaningful conversations jerk!"
