Posting Images???

PGLers:

I have never had an easy time posting/linking to images in a forum. Please provide a simple and step-by-step guide as to how to do this. Especially focus on where are some places to actually put photos on the web so that they are easily linked to.

I think I get the "bracket IMG bracket" thing, but my images still never show up.

Until a guide is set up, the most straightforward and easy way I know of is to host an image on Flickr or Photobucket, get the image url, and use the image brackets.

Example (delete spaces when using this in a real post):
[ img ]http://static.flickr.com/79/209226842_be3bb1b9f5.jpg[ /img ]

If you post that directly without spaces, you'd get this:

Huff, if you have hosted the image at a site like photobucket.com use the little image that look slightly yellow, with the mountains, and a little square sun(fifth from the right at the top of the "add reply" window). It will open a window which will allow you to copy and past an url from your image hosting account.

Does that help?

Cujo you know you like the thong pics...it is ok bro....

Just remember photobucket has bandwidth limits... You get the you are a bad person graphic if you get too many hits. Where Twango and Flickr don't have these limits. Twango offers the URL's as well from the same screen as viewing the picture. Also we automaticly give you 4 sizes from a thumbnail to the orginal size.
