Any Site Problems?

I have received this error message several times in the past two days.
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.

If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.
For offline users
You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
To view subscribed feeds

Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.

To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages)

Click Tools , and then click Work Offline.
Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view.




Has anyone else been having trouble? It has happened exactly 4 seperate times in the past 48 hours.

I was getting that last night. It was mostly this site, but some other sites did it once or twice.

Maybe one of the tubes is leaking!

Haha. Nah, not sure what's up, but I'm thinking it is related to a problem the host had with the server our site is on last weekend. Some runaway app hogged all the memory and the server crashed. They had to reset it and I'm guessing they either haven't narrowed it down yet, or they're still having issues with it. I've gotten the same error a few times this past week. Every time I check the server status tho I get all greens.

Thanks for letting us know and keep an eye on it and let us know if it keeps acting up. If so, we'll look further into it with our host. Thanks!

Everytime I put the cursur on my gamercard it says my gamercard is haveing difficulties, why is this?

Looks like mygamercard may be having some bandwith or other issues. They have been growing like mad and are probably having a bit of growing pains. With the gamercards in many sigs here that pull from mygamercard, that's a load of data being transferred from there. I'm sure Morgon is working on it.

Most users ever online was 964, 01-13-2007 at 09:01 PM. Any of the admins ever notice this? Kind of hard with less then 500 members isnt it? Or does this count anonymous guests as well?

it counts anons as well. The reason was because Peench's story got "dugg" and so it was alllllllllll over the internet. Our host actually shut us down for it we got so many hits per second!!

Yeah, we got shut down for that one - at one point we had 400 hits per second! Crazy! The actual number online was probably more than that since we had to set up the static page and there were about 1500 viewing that at any given time during that week. Fun stuff!
