Pages loading slow?

Whenever I click on the 'Go to First Unread Post' icon, to view the most recent replies of any given thread, it'll go there, but, after I read a few posts, the screen jumps back to the "first unread post", as if it isn't loading the whole page very quickly. Anyone else experiencing this?

Ive had the site hang a few times also. IE7's Phishing filter was also looking at the site harder then normal.

Ya know, it could be the gamercards loading. Just how fast is mgc.net?

I ran some maintenance jobs let me know if it helps.

Yeah... I've noticed that the MGC stuff is the last to load. That is why there is jumping: the page gets bigger when the blank space is filled with your GC.

The host had some issues on their end w/ the server we are on that they seem to have been working to resolve. The MGC cards are also the last to load lately. They must be getting hammered with requests lately. That will cause the pages to jump around in order to load up all the way.

I thought it was my schools network. Lots of Macs on he network and it gets bogged down easily.

MGC was switching servers too I think. After they were on Major Nelson they got slammed with new people. The past couple of days the gamercards were loading really slowly.
