Hey guys, the post/forum count on the main landing page is less than the count on the actual forum page. Which one is right? I was counting down to the 15000th post!

The one up top probably includes posts that have been deleted and the one on the forum page doesn't include deleted posts.

I've had quite a few of my posts deleted by mods, thats why I think this.

I agree with D_Litch. I would think it has to do with deleted posts, merged posts, and in other action that can remove a post. There might have also been test posts, and the like that were killed, but still were counted.

I have faith you will get the 15,000 post! D_Litch, you have a chance also, so keep them clean!
