How do I turn off emails?

I just looked at my email address that I used for this site and it was loaded with emails telling me that someone has replied to a post. I am on here enough where I don't need the email to let me know that someone has replied. Anyway I looked in my account and couldn't find anything. So am I missing something or is this something that an admin can turn off? Anyway thanks in advance and sorry in advance if I didn't look in the right place.

Click on User CP at the top of the page, which opens the Control Panel. Then, select 'Edit Options' on the left side. Then, under the section 'Default Thread Subscription Mode', be sure you have 'Do not subscribe' selected.

Well, when you first click on UserCP, at the top center section is the 'Subscribed Threads'. If you're subscribed to any threads, then you'll have those listed right there for you to access. If you don't subscribe, then nothing will be listed there.
