Xbox360 Wireless Receiver for Windows
Just a reminder that the 360 wireless adapter for PC is out if you were waiting....only $20....I picked one up today.

I have gone way overboard getting back into PC games recently thanks to Vista and a new PC. This is just another "upgrade." All my old games like HL2, BF2 and new games like R6V, Flight Simulator X, Oblivion, etc. are in rotation. Good times...

Probably one of the best ideas ever. The Xbox 360 controller is one of the best controllers to date! Now the ability to use it wirelessly with your computer, is absolutely awesome!

I got two of them because there are mutliple computers in the house. I'm not using Vista, still XP.
Works great. Can be kind of tricky to work with games. I've only tried on Need For Speed Carbon demo.
On a side note, not that this is big house, but turning on the controller to connect to the PC, turn on my 360, LOL.

Lol, that's not something I really thought of happening. Hahaha, I wonder if they're gonna get complaints about that!

I had preordered one from Amazon last fall and forgot about it. It showed up last week, but I haven't had a chance to plug it in yet.

I tried it on Mame32 with some good ol' 1942. Not bad once I got it working. For some reason, I had to tell Mame there was a joystick and restart the computer after installing Mame. Ah, the memories of quarters lost in that game, LOL.
Of course, I ended up turning on my 360.

I still have mine sitting unopened here next to my computer. When things slow down at work, and I get a chance to play some PC games again, I'll have to try it out.
