I was gonna drop in an old 5GB HDD, but I had to put it into another machine so I could format it. I haven't gotten around to swapping it back over. Well, the other day I was diggin' through some old boxes and found a 2.5GB HDD, so I used dropped that one in the enclosure instead. How long has it been since you've seen a HDD so tiny?
I'm thinkin' about sellin' it on ebay. How much you think I'll get for it.

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Jacksonville, FL Age: 37 | I finally got around to picking up a "real" HDD this weekend. I grabbed a Western Digital 320GB EIDE Internal drive. I'm gonna swap this one out for the 2.5GB HDD (mentioned in the first post) in my External Enclosure. One question about this, assuming this new drive isn't yet formatted, should I format it with NTFS or FAT? IIRC, FAT is limited at only 32GB, right? So, does that narrow it down for me?

Yes, however there are some 3rd party tools that let you format bigger drives with Fat. If you want to use it on your 360 you will need Fat. Any Costco members can pick up the Lacie 250GB External drive for $99 and it is already formated with Fat.
