sorry for spelling errors and bad grammar, its 6:05 in the morn.

I mean, how else will they be able to communicate with you during objective matches, etc? It just doesn't seem to fit with the whole "team" concept, unless of course you and your friend play nothing but "Double Team"-style matches.

You don't want to communicate with the team, play lone wolves or rumble pit. It's one thing if no one else on the team has mics, that's absolutely fine if you jump into private chat in that case. I've done that plenty, but don't hurt your team because you don't want to push to talk.

I like to get out of my wraith tank at the top of the hill on Valhalla and send text messages to my team, letting them all know the enemy's positions. Sure I get killed every now and then, but that information is valuable stuff. How do you think Keezy gets all those kills?

Another good way to avoid that kinda crap is to play with PGL'ers only.

To get rid of them once and for all you'll have to do it through the xbox gamer profile.
We had one annoying guy playing his radio down his mike so he got muted. However around 5 games later we got matched back with him and he was 'unmuted' in the halo menu. It ended up we had to go off into the xbox gamer profile and mute him from there.
