Ghost ... definitely a ghost sent to haunt Epyon. Take note of the menacing look on my mask and my pointed left arm as I gracefully glided through the air. I was warning Epyon of his impending demise.
If you listen closely you will hear a very faint "Epyonnnnnn .... I'm coming for youuuuuuuuuuu"
Last night was awesome. Lots of good games. The points game was really fun, with the lead bouncing around. I heard Wonder say, "what kind of alternate universe is this where Quo is in the lead?" Nice. Evidently it was the kind of universe that slaps you back into reality, as I finished in the mid-lower end of the pack. I had a nice 6 to 8-long string of spawning directly in front of people.
My highlight of the evening:
Sticking this warthog full of baddies and watching it explode for a triple kill from the grave. They came around corner and my shields were down already, so the dude on the gun took me down in one sweep... but I had just enough time to leave him a little blueberry surprise on his bumper...
I was mad when I looked at the stats. There were at least 4 other triples and 2 overkills. Insanity. Oh, and I got blamed for a betrayal when the warthog I was not longer in took a grenade from somewhere, bounced up and down and bumped into Greenthor, killing him. Lovely.
Say what you will about Halo's story and gameplay, but the ability to customize a game, have fun playing it and then recount the action later with screenshots AND video is simply amazing.

No doubt. Bungie is king. CoD4 was a great game, and a good rush of action there for a while, but the totality of the Halo3 experience... from co-op campaign play to character and game customization, to the best matchmaking around, then to videos and screen pics, and then on to stats and recordkeeping... this game is without a doubt the most well put together piece of entertainment software out there. It's amazing.
I'm always wanting to try other games out, and I always will. No one's come even remotely close to the complete package the way Bungie did with this one, though. The other night when someone complained in matchmaking about waiting for an opponent I thought, "boy... are we spoiled or what?" To Bungie. I look forward to whatever it is you're bringing NEXT.
That watch was a very thoughtful gift, Wonder. In fact, I think Epyon wants to share his cantaloupe with you Wonder ... you know, as a thank you for his new watch
I believe I gave you a gift too in that very same shotgun cave. When I went to the video replay, we stuck each other on the same appendage, it was pretty amazing. The shot was way too dark though so I didn't use it.
Many gifts are exchanged when we play Halo. I'd love some cantaloupe though, even if it does look like a Giant's Testicle.
5 vs. 1, every one else on the opposing team quits, and I tell shwancell, via proximity chat, that we won't hurt him, he can get the territories and feel a sense of accomplishment. Not one second later, this happens:

And here I was thinking people didn't want to play with us because we:
1) ... tell them that they're adopted (and that we can help them find their parents/know where their parents are)
2) ... tell them that they should be studying for tomorrow's spelling test
3) ... tell them that they need to go to sleep
4) ... tell them that they should buy a new router
5) ... are constantly laughing while down 15 in a slayer match only to come back and win by 4
Turns out splattering people after promising to play nice is the cause. Nice going Ragged ... way to ruin it for all of us.
