Halo 3 Launch Night Friends List reminder!

Guys, just wanted to remind everyone to check their friends lists. Halo 3 launch night will be a great time, and there will be tons of people playing the game. I personally will be doing a lot of co-op that night, with some multi-play thrown in for good measure.

I just want to make sure that we include as many new members as possible during launch night. If you're planning on multiplaying, look over the newbies here and add some people you think might be a good match with. The more great games and great parties we can have online, the better it will be for everyone!

So clear off some old people you haven't seen in years and stretch that FL a little... Try to add 5 new players to your FL so that everyone gets a chance to see what a great experience it is to play with the PGL crowd. There's no reason why, after H3 launch night, we shouldn't be able to get 2-3 full rooms of PGL'ers playing H3... and avoid the kiddies/rude people entirely!

How does muliplayer work with H3? Is there any advantage to me having a 30mbs down and 5mbs up connection when playing?

Only in that you can probably still DL pron while you play, big plus.

Halo chooses the host, you just sit back and ride the fun wave. A better connection will always help you though, since depending on where everyone is located, you may be the host.

I think I only have around 50 people on my friends list, so I certainly have room for more. I'll try and send out friend requests to new folks. If I don't, feel free to send me one!

Harsh. Yeah, we've got an appointment for a foursome for some co-op. No denying that. But we'll be out there playing some multiplay too. And when I'm out there in multi, I'll be looking to include as many people as I can from PGL. I just mentioned ahead of time that I'll be in co-op a lot because it would be pretty hypocritical of me to encourage everyone to play together, act like I'll be available all night, then go off by myself.

No one here's a peasant, man. I enjoy playing with everyone. We made this appointment months ago during the Beta, and we're sticking to it. I mean gee, if you can't hang with your boys on a night like that, whatcha gonna do? It's one night, and I plan on making the most of it. Everyone should!

I still have some space on my friends list, I'm in the mid to high 80's. Anyone who wants to get some pwning in should invite me to their games. Not sure when I'll have it as I ordered mine online... I might try to pickup another normal copy just so I can jump-in to the action.

I'd like to rock some coop launch night, but I know that my usual gaming buddies (NIN and BMC) may not have it that night, and ElektroMagneto no longer responds to my messages because he doesn't like black guys from Montana. What gives?

Guess I'll be going at it alone on Monday night.

I should have mine @ Midnight and be home whenever I can get my copy and run home. The Ebstop punk says there are 500+ preorded so I am sure it will be rather crazy.
