When asked about online co-op, Frankie only said that only co-op is a fun feature in other games, and that he enjoys it. He confirmed nowhere that it will be included in Halo 3. If I had to wager money though...

It'll be the only way to get my brothers or Cujo into H3 at all... none of them like Halo, so it'll be a little like getting them to play Gears. If the online co-op is fun enough it makes up for a lot of things.

And I agree, riding brokeback while Crippler is wearing that outfit he calls "the tickler" is awesome.

Also, I may, may be a tad dependent on the sniper rifle in Valhalla.

You just wait for all turret matches on Vahalla, that will put your skills to the test!

| Had a few more fun matches last night. Met some random people and played a bit with Friends.
Keezy did destroy Crippler and I with that mine. What was funny is that a split second before we hit the mine while driving the warthog I hear "No....!" Of course by then I was full bore in the warthog and about 1 foot away from the thing.. oops, too late!! haha.
The shields to me seem like they are beefed up. Anyone else notice that?

Was a HOOT! | |

Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Austin, TX Age: 25 | I remember distinctly on one of the early matches on Valhalla jumping out to the middle and there being a huge firefight on our side of the main hill. It seems every member of both teams is there. We're fighting it out and then I see that Keezy has joined the fray. I see "K42" running off feverishly cackling "mine! mine!" no doubt because he hears the enemy's warthog approaching. There's a lull in the firefight and I can still hear Keezy excited about this thing. The action starts up again, Keezy is on the hill waiting and watching what will surely be a fantastic explosion when I take two steps backward and detonate the mine, killing me. If that wasn't bad enough I hear Keezy as he hangs his head, "oh, Epyon" in one of the most disappointed tones I've ever heard.
It's crazy how much Valhalla has changed since it was Blood Gulch. If you think I'm bad with a sniper rifle on this map, you should have seen me on Halo 1's Blood Gulch. There was no cover in the map. It was bad. Valhalla is finally good for infantry.
Did you guys notice on Valhalla if you're inside of the base for a bit and then step out into the sun then your characters eyes take a second to adjust and as a result everything is really bright? It's just like in real life. It's a nice touch.
