Halo has always been run'n'gun which is a nice change a pace from the stop'n'pop play style of Rainbow Six. They're different flavors and I love them both. Like Vanilla and Chocolate, they're better together.

I finally had a chance to watch the video and it looks pretty sweet. It is nice to see Bungie trying to balance the maps and make them playable for years. That's very cool. I really can't wait to try out the Beta to see more or less what's in store for us. That's gonna be awesome!

Has anyone else watched this video dissection of the Multiplayer ViDoc?

Here are the things it shows in the first 2 minutes:
- Deployable Grav lift
- Carrying the Warthog's Turret and using it for a short time
- Escort Game Type
- Sword as secondary weapon (22:04) <--- according to Joystiq

I'll have to check it out. On the Bungie thread about this vid doc, among the flaming of children by children, some mentioned the carrying of Warthog weapons and the Grav Lift.

Also, I noticed that Escort game type too. It was on the same screen with the map called Warthog Inc. I'll have to check out that video when I get home. Hell, maybe I'll check it out at work too.

They also point out on one the screens the pistol. The orignal Halo CE one, not the magnum. Talk about a tease.

So far the profiles of vehicles that they posted, and afterwards we posted, are actually coming true. They mention the Warthog gun being detachable in the Warthog profile, and they also mention a new vehicle name, the Mauler I think. We talk about it in that thread. I wonder if that is the Mauler on the screen when they talk about it.

The Halo CE's pistol return is welcome news, but that was in one of the other Vidocs too wasn't it? Hidden the same way?

I'm interested in the beta just to see what it's like. The alpha version in the doc doesn't look that great graphically though, looks like an XBOX game. It's an alpha version though, so I have hope. I still don't plan on purchasing this game as of yet.

I think the graphics in the vidoc look like some kind of videogame from 1955 Hillvalley. Stupid past time graphics, I hate them.

Finally watched the VidDoc breakdown. Interesting stuff. However, I was pounding my face into the screen when they were speculating what "Hillary in C8" meant. Hey, idiots... isn't 08 an election year? Isn't Hillary a person running for president?
