This is a great feature. The 360 allows you to mute players, but you have to do it through the dashboard or the recently played blade, which takes time. With this, it is basically as easy as going to the scoreboard and selecting somebody. Also, from the sound of it, it only lasts a game.

Very cool feature. It was easy enough to do in Halo 2 but still somewhat of a pain. This sounds like it's going to let you do it in about a second, which is what needs to happen in online games. You can't be worried about hitting the guide button, that thing takes too long.

Sounds like it is essentially the same as Halo 2 was. IMO its a great feature but it takes too long. By the time you realize you wanted to mute someone in the PreGame Lobby it was too late and if you wasted 10 seconds doing it after the game started you were already at a disadvantage trying to get weapons.

Not a bad idea. Not perfect yet, but it's step in the right direction. I'd rather not play with the trash talkers myself. That's that person's game, not mine. I never felt like I was "the man" because I beat someone who wasn't as good as me. I usually wanted to help the person to become better so it would become more challenging to win.

I still laugh in GOW how many people like to tell me I stink, and they're on my team, LOL. I do enjoy hearing it as well as soon as I get into the "post death viewing" from those already in there, LOL.
