Those look very nice! I wish the Gears of War theme was as good! I feel kind of gypped with the GoW theme. Wait... I got it for free.... oh well! I may have to replace it with this one!

I like the color on that one. Many of the themes I shy away from because they make it harder to read the text, etc. This one looks pretty clean. I just can't wait until we can make our own! (and not simply change the background pic).

I'll do you one better.

Find the video online, do a screen capture of any image you want as your background on 360 dashboard.

Save that image to a media card in your camera.

Hook up the camera to the 360 via USB connection.

Open the image through the media reader and use option to set as background.

I'm sure if you look hard enough on google you can problably find a screen shot of any halo image you really want. All this for 10 minutes of your time and no money

can you set your own backround for each blade like a theme. Or just the main backround pic?

I'm pretty sure it's just one pic for each. A nice little touch of the background is that the dash blades are the hexagonal mesh of the shield.

Is it seperate? I can't remember right now. I have my background as a pic I took on vacation but I can't remember if its just the main page or each page.

Its not nearly that difficult. Most of us can stream videos and pics from our computers straight to our 360's. Where you been dog?

unfortunately stuck with a computer that won't upgrade to xp sp2 so I can't install windows media connect to do anything from my pc to my 360. I'm intending on loading a new copy of windows on a nice 300gb drive in the next week or so though so that should resolve that issue.
