Will Spoonman cave to PGL/Halo 3 Pressure?

***I've stated many times what Bungie needs to do in order to entice me.

ALL of the following MUST happen. If just one of the following doesnt meet my criteria, Bungie is on the EA list for good

1. 1st and foremost, Syslink Coop is mandatory. Split screen only is pathetic.

2. NO effing playing as anyone other than MC!

3. Graphically it cannot just be a higher res Halo 2, which it seems to be from screens I've seen.

4. The single player campaign must take front and center, the online MP is secondary..........yeah right.

When the time grows nearer and more details are disclosed, voting in this poll should be easier

You will cave... Just like I do we are weak when it comes to the peer persure the our fellow PGLer's can apply. You know there will be 42 threads going on how assume the game is and you will say ok I guess I better see what I'm missing.

And Dmiller, check my top 30 games List, you wont find Halo(which was decent) let alone Halo 2. Why do I mention that? Because all 3 Splinter cells are in my top 10 and I havent even bothered with Double Agent. You might want to take those comments back

Halo 3 is so far off the radar......no analogy would be good enough. But think what you may My picks for 2007 are Mass Effect and Splinter Cell 5! Oh and BioShock and Assassins Creed and FABLE freakin 2 and GRAW 2!!!

Even if the game had everything I demand, when would I play it? It would collect dust with the above gems on the way.

I don't think you'll get it Detective Spooner. I don't think they'll stray too far from the tried and true Halo 2 formula. And since you're not a big Halo fan to begin with, I doubt it'll drag you in. MP will never be secondary, but neither will SP. SP is the core, the climax & denouement of the Halo Universe. But MP is what keeps people coming back. You can only beat a game so many times, but people are STILL playing the hell out of MP.

I think Gears will have you spoiled graphically for a long, long time. I do hope they improve, as it resembles Halo 2 a great deal as of now.

I don't think he'll get it. That being said, Ghost of Onyx gave glimpses into something that might entice Spoon. Maybe some coop? I dunno. Spoon is pretty dead set on things once he makes up his mind.
