After trying for 3 hours on 9-25-08 and ultimately having the game freeze halfway through rally point bravo (Its a widespread problem) my group FINALLY beat it tonight.
Its tough! But the shenanigans to be had make it all worth it! You have to beat the last level in Halo 3 on the Legendary difficulty, with the Iron skull turned on. The Iron skull makes all the enemies 3 times harder. Its pretty difficult, so plan on restarting checkpoints left and right until you figure out a pattern that works for your group.
Remember, you have to finish the level with all 4 players on Ghosts! After you beat the guiltyspark and run outside, jump down to the left, and the 4 ghosts are under the ramp. Hop on and go! Don't get too far ahead though or the floor will fall out and you'll all die  | |
