It's only the single greatest game of all time.
And the best weapon of all time: (Wondermonkey, not a word!)
The M6D Pistol
and the single greatest level of all time:
The Silent Cartographer

I do own the game. I do need to play it. After I am done with a couple other games, I plan on playing through 1 and 2. I have never finished halo 2 campaign since I got a 360 and lost my game save on my original xbox.

| don't listen to poo Justin. I haven't play any halo game. Well, I played a bit the single player of 1, but I don't count it. I do own both 1 & 2, and haven't played them. | |

Probably my favorite thing about it was the epic style levels. No game has better campaign map layouts. Silent Cartographer was a good one, but my favorite by far was Assault on the Control Room. I still remember the first time I played through it. It took me 3 HOURS! I couldn't believe it, but when I finally finished it, I felt like I had conquered the world. It probably won't take you anywhere near that long, but I savored every bit of it, and I tended to play very slowly, as my goal in every mission was to not let any marines die.
Man, I want to play through it again!

| While it is surprising, I say "meh". Halo 1 validated my choice to buy an Xbox at launch, but I wouldn't consider it one of the best on the console(Sorry Ep ) Top 15? Yes. But it's not as much of a sin as say, he never played KOTOR.
The Silent Cartographer is awesome and the pistol is overpowered, I do love the game. But, I just don't think the Halo story is deep enough to be lost if you never played the first.(Just saying, no need to freak out)

BULLPLOP. Assault on the Control Room was pure happy mess. I played that level one summer non-stop.

Halo
Truth and Reconciliation
The Silent Cartographer
Assault on the Control Room
That run, all the way through, is fantastic.
And justin, you can't put this on the bottom of the pile. You've got to play it this week! And the last level? Best end level ever. Pulse-pounding, white-knuckle adrenaline ride!
