Legendary Map Pack Vidoc.

This ViDOC focuses specifically on the Legendary Map Pack (due April 15th for 800 points on Xbox Live Marketplace) and introduces viewers to virtual versions of the some of the designers and artists who worked on Avalanche, Blackout and Ghost Town. An assortment of file sizes for the ViDOC are available for download now. Tomorrow, the ViDOC will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace.

I think it's generally around 3 months later, so I'd bank on the end of July, early August.

The Heroic Map pack was released on December 11th I think, and they just became free.

Thanks. That is what I figured. I don't know if my impatient self can wait the three months on these maps. I am sure I will be buying them next week.

If it were just the Sidewinder remake I'd be paying for it on the 15th. The ridiculous amount of fun that was had on that map years ago is still fresh in my mind. Add in the new man cannons and vehicles, and it's a no brainer.

The Sidewinder remake is the one thing that's causing me to reconsider getting the new map pack and playing this game again.

I've been pretty into RB6 and NBA2k, but Sidewinder is the one map I've wanted them to remake for several years now. Along with bloodgulch, it's my all time favorite map.

Kudos to Bungie for finally getting it done, I just wish it would have been on their first map pack.

I remember hearing somewhere that they were not sure if this map pack would become free. I'll see if I can find where I heard/saw that.

We are not currently aware of any plans to release the Legendary Maps for free.
