Halo problems.

Couple days ago I started playing again. And have found a MAJOR problem.

I can't play custom games, can't watch saved films, can't save films, can't download anything on anyones file share, can't save a forge map, or can't save a custom game. When I try those actions, my name starts blinking and the left side of the screen says: You cannot play user created content. Why is that? I have an over 18 account and have no child accounts on the 360. I've also checked my settings on the dashboard and in the Halo 3 menu.

Any ideas guys?

Is it still happening? Live has been pretty sketchy and that could be the issue.

Dude, that sucks. This same thing happens with another PGL-affiliate, bobsaget167. There's a customer support number in the game manual. Give it a call and let us know what's the deal.

Yea I've gotten on and off of the game and still doesn't work.

I recall seeing a setting for that somewhere... you might check through all of your profile settings to see if it is switched off for some strange reason. It may be tied to your "friends only" interaction that you mentioned in the other thread.

I called Microsoft "support" and what should should have been a 2 minute phone call lasted 41 minutes just to tell me to switch all my settings to allow everyone. Everything works fine now. Thanks for the input.

Glad you got it fixed. I had a strange Halo 3 problem as well a while ago. I played through the campaign on hardcore and beat it and played a bunch of online multiplayer with no problem.

Then when I tried loading up the campaign on legendary, it always "failed to load" for some reason. I could still play online multiplayer, but nothing in the campaign would load for me.

Finally, I brought the disk back to Walmart and they exchanged it for me. No problems since. I think there were some disks that were just screwy.
