Sadly, American Idol is never over for Zoom, because even afterwards, it's all he seems to talk about. You may wind up having to mute him.

For the record, while I do enjoy watching American Idol, I'd give up watching any sort of TV altogether if I could get away with playing games every night. But, as long as I'm married to this woman, it just ain't gonna happen. I think I've said something to this effect in other threads.

Trust me, bro, the number of TV's in the house is NOT the issue. We have a 51" HD set in the family room, a 42" Plasma in the bedroom, and a 32" in my office where the 360 is located. The problem is my wife thinking she can enforce "gaming in moderation".

I'll actually play Halo if you guys get an Epic Flag match going. My killing skills are garbage(as I learned last night), but I can play defense like nobodies business.

Just to tie it all together, back in the day, my wife would play Halo with my friends and me. She wasn't great at offense, but enjoyed herself on the defense side of things. She even got a kick out of some sniper action, from time to time.
