I bought a GHII game used about two months ago, maybe, and Lord Geoff was nice enough to resurface it for me (thanks again). And as so know I didn't buy GHII anytime near when it came out; I couldn't get over the guitar being not wireless. And I recently got GHIII and been playing it; just finished easy career.
So, since I have the guitar, I figure I'll get some GHII easy career done now; always good to get more practice. So, I'm going over the levels I completed with the regular controller to get them up to five stars; I believe it was about six songs. I'm playing the last song, and get a four star, and going to redo level, all over sudden the game isn't loading quickly. Next then I know, I see an error code about needing a 360 disc to play games. I'm like what the? Pop out the disc, assuming I got a finger smug/print and disc head can't read through; nother really there, a little dust, so I clean the disc off with Windex and a soft towel. Try it again, error.
I'm so irritated. The game was working fine, no signs of an issue and all of sudden, a big fat guitar hero FU. I need to see if Activision has a disc replacement program, otherwise I may be forced to do a disc switch to one of the local game rental places (not the GYG guys; I'm think big corporations). Not that I will or condone any such behavior, 8)
Ok, I'm done venting
