Is this (GHIII) widely available?

So I'm starting to look around because Danger wants it for Xmas, and every online retailer seems to be sold out of the wireless guitar pack. You guys catch it online anywhere? Is this one of those bastards that's going to be MIA for the holiday season?

She asked me if anyone will still be playing it during xmas, she likes to battle. I'm trying to talk bad ass Crippler into battling her, but he's wildly intimidated by her bodacious woman parts.

I seem to always see a few of them on the shelves of my local BB and Wally Marts. RedOctane online store probally has them also. And shipping is usually free too!

Ok good deal. Online they seem to scarce (although thanks NIN, RedOctane has them). I'll check the brick & mortars and see what I can dig up.

I just picked one up at BB. They had a ton of PS3 versions. There were only a few of the 360 if you're looking for the guitar and game bundle. There were quite a few 360 game only. Since I have GHII 360 game, I didn't really look to see if they had the PS3 or Wii versions.

I'm sure that people will still be playing this by Xmas. It's a lot of fun, and I find myself continuing to play it every couple of days, despite a lot of great games out right now. I think Rock Band my take away some of its mojo, but I'm sure Danger will still have lots of people to battle.

To anyone who has purchased the game with the guitar, does it come with rechargeable batteries or just AAs?

The reason I ask is because on Red Octane's site they offer it with 2 rechargeable battery packs and the charger, as well as a thicker strap, a stupid keychain (which I know she'd like because she's a dork) and free shipping and no tax for $129.

I'm trying to see if this is worth not fighting the crowds somewhere. I hit up all local Best Buys, Wal-Marts & Gamestops this week and they were all sold out. It's the downside of living in a popular area I suppose.

it comes with standard AAs, no rechargeable, and it wont even take a rechargeable battery pack from a controller, which pissed me off

Name is correct. I tried to see if the batteries that Pigiun United offers for the Wiimote would fit, and did not; they looked very similar to what RedOctane showed on their site.

I was waiting for a good deal like they did last year for GHII, where you got the two guitars, but no luck.
