Picked up GH3 yesterday

Well the wife came into the room while I was watching south Park last week (the guitar hero show) and since then she's wanted to try out GH3, so she finally talked me into getting it yesterday. I played the game all day yesterday and I have to say it's hard as hell. I can't even get through one song on easy with out missing several notes and I'll never be able to play on any of the harder levels. That said the game is still a ton of fun.

A couple questions for experienced players:

1. If we get a second guitar controller can my wife and I play songs together?
2. If I pick up a used copy of GH2 (game only) will the new guitar controller work with that game as well?
3. How can someone release a guitar game and not have any Van Halen or Jimi Hendrix in it?

Thanks, one more thing, I just checked out the master song list posted on this site and several of the songs on the list are not in my game. Has the list been changed since the games release?

I've completed the career on easy and as i progressed more songs became available, do I have to play on a harder lever to open up more?

in gh2 all songs werent unlocked on easy, but i believe when you beat it on medium, all the songs will be unlocked

the game seems impossible the first time you ever play them, but trust me, you will get better, i said almost that exact same thing, but after about a month i was trucking threw hard, gh2 that is

Yeah, 20+ of the songs have to be purchased in the store. They are some of the foreign songs and songs by lesser known artists.

GH3 was my first GH game to date. I could barely play a song on easy when I first got it. Now, in less than a month, I have 5*ed all but one Medium song and am 3 songs away from beating the Hard tour. This game is the definition of "practice makes perfect". When playing a song now, it's like my fingers move themselves. Very rewarding.

I have GHIII, and picked up a used copy of GHII game, no controller, and the wireless guitar works with GHII.
