| This seems like the right place to ask....
Why do I want GHIII over Rock Band??
Or are you all just getting both?
I had fun w/ GHII - but hated that it didn't have multiplayer - will GHIII? And in what format? Co-op - duel?
I pretty much convinced myself to go w/ Rock Band this time around because of the multiplayer option - and the variety - drums... thought that'd be a cool twist...
So what are you all thinking?

| I'll be picking up both, but I think GHIII will keep my interest even after I get RB.
GHIII has online multiplay in a "Battle Mode"(which I hear sucks) format, co-op, and a Co-op career mode. I think that RB won't be a worthy comparison in the online department due to the fact that the World Tour mode(where you start a band with 4 of your friends and tour) won't be online until a patch months after it comes out. When that is online, it will be awesome.
I may be a little jaded when it comes to Rock Band, due to the fact that I have a drum set already, and I can sing 80's hits without buying a $40 mic. I also prefer a Les Paul over a Strat, and wireless over wired(for guitars at least). Also, GHIII's song selection is pretty awesome, and RB's hasn't been completely revealed yet.
I'll be buying GHIII, and then buying RB Drum/vocals set online once retailers start getting the bundles and dividing it up by instrument(if that's even legal).
And GHIII has 'One'. EDIT* I hope that helped/made sense. After reading what I just posted, I realize it was basically a bunch of sentences vomited on the page.

I played the demo last night for GH3 and was a bit annoyed at how they moved so much around. I missed some notes trying to figure out where everything was. Also, the sound quality seemed not as good as GH2. Hopefully this is just a demo issue. Like on Even Flow, in single player, it seems like they should have picked lead guitar. In two player mode, it did sound better though.

| Cool.. Looks like I'll be picking up GHIII this weekend then!
I didn't realize that RB's online play was gonna be so far off!
NOW - do I go for the wireless guitar, or just the disk... decisions decisions
