I was watching some video, I believe on gametrailers.com, that was an interview with one of the game developers at Activision, and said that Living Colour came and rerecorded Culture Personality specifically for the game. There's an added guitar solo and stuff.
On a side note, I bought that that album, remember Living Colour performing on SNL, but that was the first time I ever saw the video, LOL.

Yes they did, in fact re-record it. We were at an event during E3 and they developers were there. We talked to them about that exact thing. They guys were playing Cult of Personality on Expert and OMG was it hard!!! They said they called them to see if they could use their master track and the guys said "why don't we just record a new one for you." It totally rocks! |

I've never played guitar hero, but I've heard lots of good things about it. I wouldnt be opposed to giving it a try sometime if I had the really expensive controller.
