So, who downloaded the Top Gun theme song?

I did, it wasn't too bad. Has anyone played the Aerosmith one yet? The easiest songs on easy ever. I was able to beat all the songs on easy all but 3 with 5 stars.

I've heard other people say GH:Aerosmith was easy.

A few guys had a full 750+ GS in a few days of playing and they didn't score as high as me on GHII or GHIII...

I want to get it (<--GS whore), but a few friends said the Aerosmith songs get old fast.

I'll be honest if you are good at GH it is most likely a rent. I suck so I didn't mind buying it with the hope with practice I maybe able to play a song on medium.

If you like Aerosmith then it can never get old but most of the songs are from the late 70's... Not there 80's stuff.

Also, I'm disappointed to hear about GH: Aerosmith. I'm a big fan of their 80's and 90's stuff. Not so much their 70's stuff. Is there still plenty of good 80's and 90's hits?? Like, Hole in my Soul, Crazy, Cryin, etc.

I downloaded it, but I haven't played it. I haven't try GHA yet. I'll wait till it is a lot cheaper--new or used. I just don't play GH enough to justify the cost.

I hate the fact they lock songs up that you have to earn money to unlock as a noob player I never get to unlock the songs I really want to play.

What in the world? Why are there non-areosmith artist on the list? It's one thing for some of the solo work. But come on, the whole game should be licensed by the Aerosmith, unless they or what record company they have sold the rights to those songs and thus are using covers. It just kind of seems against the point of the Areosmith game.

The other songs where by groups they respected. I figured the entire game would be Areosmith songs as well. It is not like there are not enough songs.

I wouldn't say I am good at GH. I do ok. All 5-stars on Medium and 1/3 of the way through hard with the controller...

I have friends and classmates that just play expert.

I am thinking it is more of a rent than a buy for me... I figure that many songs, I should be done with it in 2-3 days, if I sit down and play it through on my days off.


ETA:
The reason why other bands are in the GH:Aerosmith game are because those bands were inspirations to some of Aerosmith's music. It was in a Game Informer article a few months back...

I agree, I like Rockband's layout of the songs and the ability for you to pick your song list in many arenas. Nothing like playing the same songs 10+ times (Band1:E/M/H, Band2:E/M, Band3:E, Co-op E/Co-op M... not even counting the numerous times I played my friends' copies.)

I downloaded the Top Gun theme and it's just as I remembered. Cheesy 80's theme song crap. Seriously, why the hell did they release this? There are millions of others I'd rather choose to play than the Top Gun theme. It was free, but still, seems like the developers are getting lazy.

Crappy music for a horrible Tom Cruise movie.
