Different Endings or paths?

i was wondering if people did multiple play throughs and went different paths?

I take too long to start another play through so when i had to go on a mission for Francis Mcreary (Dirty Cop) he told me he wanted me to ice his brother Derrick Mcreary (Dopefiend), but Derrick called me and told me to watch his back cause he though his brother wanted him dead. So i was able to choose, My first go i shot Francis in the face with my $5000 sniper, 2nd time i shot Derrick Only difference so far is:

Packie calls & so does Kate, they want me to attend the funeral, and they let me know Gerry is in Jail, and Niko has to protect the funeral and drive the hearst to go bury Francis, but the Mcrearys are not sad that Francis is dead

I dont hear a word from Packie and i find out Gerry is in jail from the radio news, i dont have to go to any funeral, but Niko punks Francis, so now i can call him to clear my wanted level and he was even able to clear a 3 star wanted. The only person who i can go to for missions is Ray Boccino at the moment.

I have both versions in different save spots, so im playing both. Anyone else, trying different paths?

I played it through once making all the "good" choices and am now playing it again to make the opposite choices.

Chose to kill Dmitri at the end, didn't really get anything out of it as far as I remember but Kate ends up getting shot by the Pegarinos I think. My theory is that if you don't kill Dmitri Kate stops talking to you because she keeps pressuring you to kill him beforehand, so you end up not being able to see her again either way

So far it's been more "profitable" to make the "good" choices.

I killed Francis because he was the one who wanted his brother to die. Derrick was innocent in the whole thing so I spared him.

Rawwwrr, If you try to do the deal with Dmitri he turns on you and then kills Roman at his wedding.

yeah what happened in desi's game is the rout I took. Is there a way that that dont happen?

i just didnt overwrite my save, i have 2 save points and in each one i took a different path, The great thing about killing Derrick is that you get to call Francis anytime your in trouble with the law and he can take a 3 star warrant away.
