Text message cars

If anyone has gotten past getting the cars for brucie and is now on to getting the ones for I think his name is steve, who sends you texts about the cars, I need help I have gotten the first text message but I have no way to find the cars because it doesnt give you an Icon. So if anyone has found a map that shows all of the positions, or any other tips that would be very helpful I do not wish to drop 20 dollars on a guide that I do not want to use for anything but things i get really stuck on and can figure out online.

Here are the positions of the cars and the names are next to the ones that I have found so your search should be narrowed a bit. It has helped me even make better guesses so far.

You have to use a few things:

• Street Names
• Parts of the city
• Look at the picture background for what the buildings look like
• Occupational cues about the owner
• Landmarks

For example, the text message says you're stealing a comedian's car. It should be around the Comedy Club. When they only give you a part of the city, look very close at the picture to find out where the car is and if you can spot any distinct architectural features of the surrounding buildings. The second car was the hardest for me (looks like Bentley's sports car).

The first one it gave me is by the Dmv or something and Ive never seen the building before but the place looks like a craphole so its either in newjersey bronx or queens.

I'm glad this is coming up in-game. I'm still on Brucie's cars, but I think it's a pain to have to go back to the Tw@t every time to check my email. Seems like it would be much better to get a text or just have a list of cars like it was in GTA:Vice City and others.

You have no idea how frustrating it can be I honestly cant wait to wuss my way out of this one and use a guide. There is no icon on the map for the car only one to find the garage after you have found the car I believe The Keez will have to confirm this for me because I have not even found the first car. It is so vauge and doesnt even tell you what island its on I literally want someone to invite me to a game just so I'll stop looking but every time I turn on my system I cant help but start looking.

Yeah, the icon for the dropoff garage comes up when you have the car. Also a message pops up telling you that you have entered the car that Steve is looking for.

At the very least, they've generally given me street names. There was one instance where I was only given the name of a location. Lucky for me, Brucie took me there on one of his hanging out missions. I have no idea where the DMV is though... I haven't had that one yet. They must not come in order.

No from what I have heard it is all random and I pretty much got the big hard shaft the car isnt brightly colored AKA easily spotted from the air. It says its located in Rotterdam Hill that is all but I have not found a Road or section of LC that is named that. If you can help at all keezy Im sure it will help you in the future and if I do manage to find it I will let you know for when you need it.

We should probably start a list of the 30 cars because I dont think anyone has a guide for this yet I will post the ones that are on wiki in a second I figure we can post what Island and what part of town it is in and elaborate from there as all of us see fit my next post will get this shindig started.

leave out the spaces.

Type it into a computer in-game and it will show:
Weapon, health, armor, vehicle, pigeon, ramp/stunt, and entertainment locations
Not sure about cars though.

You have to finish the brucie cars missions first then he refers you to a friend who sends you somewhat vague texts for cars I am writing down which car goes where as I slowly find them. Feel free to add the name of the car next to the point as you guys find them it will help everyone in the end, or you can just let me know and I will put the name of the car next to the corresponding point.

Do you have to have all the islands open for this to kick in?

I have my Brucie ratings all at 100% and still no text. But I haven't opened up the last section yet. Is that when it opens the text? I am around 48% complete on the game so far.

That may be a factor It took a little while for the text message missions to kick in I am going to try and find the next car tonight if you guys find any cars if you know which position is that car I will go ahead and type the name of the car next to the point on the map then reupload the map but I only have one done and didnt want to post it until i had at leas a few.

I don't think it has anything to do with brucie's ratings. YOu need to have retrieved all of the Cars for Brucie from his emails.
