GTA lV Disc noise

For some reason when I first put in the game and it starts spinning, it make a lot of noise. It's loud to the point it worrys me that this 260 could be dying. None of my other games do this. Just curious if anyone else's game is loud starting up.

Mine is very loud, but I have an Elite with a loud drive anyway. I'm a bit uneasy too...

yeah my 360 makes more noise with this game than any other.

I haven't noticed a lot of noise on mine. I will check it tonight. Now I do hear a lot people cussing me out when I drive over their legs..which technically is coming from the disc.

ive got no issues with this game on my main 360, but my backup makes hella noise, mainly with cod4 spinning in it (i posted about this 360 getting RRoD in another post earlier today)

My 360 doesn't make any more noise while playing but the overall volume is REALLY low compared to every other game. I have to crank up my system another 10 db at least just to hear the characters.

This games make my 360 real loud during startup but then smooths out for me. I have the volume issue like Peench.

as i did i, in order to enjoy the games vocals i had to enable the subtitles.

Its loud but I think it is mainly because the city is so huge and the game needs to constantly load.

Mine is loud also. My 360 also ate my disc pretty bad while playing it. It gave me a disc read error and I thought WTF it's a brand new game. Ejected it only to find huge scratches all around the outside 2" of the disc!! It took alot of nursing to get it to work again. I am pretty sure my 360is on it's way out....again.

No louder for me, although sometimes the volume does get low for me.
