OG's raising up the Baby G's!!

Yo yo yo!! Shout out to all the OG's out there - the OGTAG's in the hizzouse!

It's time for you to be raising up the Baby G's right - learnin us about the 'hood - teachin us what THUG4LIFE is all about, Yo!

So - with that said being new to GTA, here's some of the things I'm wondering... which work out better for you as far as progressing in the game and stuff.

Do you go back to your safehouse and save after every mission? Or just when you're done playing for the day? Is it better to progress the 6 hours forward that you get w/ a save? If you just keep going, will it take longer for missions to show up? (cuz for example, maybe it waits a certain amount of 'game clock time' to serve up missions).


Does it mess you up if you DON'T do a mission?? I was on my way to pick up Michelle when Roman called. I answered and he was cornered in the park - well, I blew him off for some coffee instead - and he end up getting his ass beat. Sooooo - is it better to just not answer the phone if you're already on a mission? Does it matter one way or another?

Anyway else have any of these kinds of questions (or am I the only GTA n00b here?? lol)

There is an autosave feature that saves after every mission, but it doesn't save jumps or pigeons. And I don't think the missions coincide with the clock much, most of my missions take place at 3am.

I blew Roman off during my date too, I don't think it matters. I know there are some "moral" decisions in the game, but I don't think by not doing a mission right away anything bad will happen.

Hears the Deal "Little G", When Roman called me i didnt know What he was saying so i didnt know he was in trouble, and I wanted to go on this date, But after i found out he got his ass beat i was Mad/Sad, Cause in real life if im with a girl and my cousin called me, Im out to go to his side, thats what blood is for. It factors in to him liking and hanging out with you, If you dont pick up the phone he may think your avoiding him (like in real life sometimes). Im that way in life, If you dont pick up the phone once i think your busy, twice, your doing something, 3 hours later and your phone better be broken, Not powered, Lost, or im thinking your blowing me off. There are people that sometimes if i hear the ring i wont answer, but i have 4 people that whenever they call no matter what ill answer usually on the first or 2nd ring.

It all factors into the game, if you decide not to hang out that day, Call him back later on and kick it with him to go make up for it because Eache person at some point will give you benefits. CHEATCC.com has all the benefits written and which people will give them too you and what they are. so Pick up your phone especially if it is somebody that you can service you wit special benefits (not that, Hookers dont call you). To my credit, I did head straight for the courts once I picked Michelle up, but by the time I got there I guess he'd already received his beat down cuz he was gone.

To make matters worse, as we headed back to the car, my girl got run over!!! Luckily she's a strong chick and was able to rub some dirt on it and go bowling!


Roman called me after the Michelle date, and yeah said he was cool once he knew I blew him off for some p8ssy... but the freak kept asking me how "the titties taste"...

I was just reading the June issue of OXM and they actually had a great write up on GTA4. One of the things they said was that you should save the game frequently so that you have a save point before making any of the moral decisions in the game. They said that these decisions can affect the final outcome of the game and if you make the wrong choice it can affect the 100% completion. I save after every couple missions and if there have been no moral decisions since the last save, I just overwrite it.
