GTA IV - 1st thing you did after leaving Romans house?

First thing that happened to me after stepping out of Roman's front door, i sprinted across the road and got knocked down by a police car HA !

Within my first 20 mins of gameplay, i managed to earn a 6 star wanted level, by jumping in a stretch of water . .. .which was kinda weird

Then some guy decided to hang on to his car door after i had stolen it, and continued to grab onto the car while i drove off, untill he was hit by an oncoming car !

Ohh and some guy sitting on some steps got kicked in the face, looked soo funny you gotta go try it !

So anyways what was the first thing that happened to you after leaving your cousins house?

I snagged the fastest looking car I could find, and then I tested the tasty, tasty physics out.

I shot the first cop i seen in the Face and took his squad car to go try to find a hooker, I couldn't find out which lady was a hooker (They all looked like hookers!) so i just went to the first mission so i could get my phone and try multiplayer.

i stole a car to drive around some, but the guy i stole the car from tried to get it back (he ended up hanging on to the bumper while i drove off!) so i swirved left and right to get him off my car, and i ran into a cop.

So i decided i had to lose the cop (new cop chasing system rocks btw), However I'm not very good at driving yet (every car feels like the steering is too "loose"), but i ranked up a 4 or 5 star wanted level. After speeding through an allyway i came out of it and ran into a block or trashcan or something, i flew straight out of my windshield into the ocean. the windshield thing made my jaw drop it was awesome.

I would say my opening experience to the game ROCKED

I just drove around a little bit to get used to the driving mechanics, while being chased by police. I kinda broke into a car with a police officer right next to it on the sidewalk, .

I immediately tried to go to times square but apparently that part was (and still is) locked and I got a 6 star wanted rating when i tried to get past(ram) the roadblock. I did a U-turn and headed back into town where my car caught fire from gun shots and in my panic to stop and ditch the car without dieing I lost control and started rolling. After a few rolls the car hit a curb and flew about 30 feet into a gas station and I went out in a blaze of glory. Explosions are amazing by the way.

Then started over, Id say that it was quite an epic start and Ive been hooked since.

I think that is why you got a 6 star rating king you tried to go somewhere that was still restricted.

And went to the restaurant next door, then went to see Roman.

I hopped into a large city bus with a bunch of friends. We all drove around, shooting out the windows. Pretty soon we had 6 stars, and about 20 cop cars chasing/plowing into us at each intersection. I love this game. lol

that reminds of GTA:SA when I would roll up to a rival neighborhood with a buss full of homies because I could take more than 4.

My first experience was less than stellar... I actually went to the cab place to try to do the first mission to make some cash. After waiting outside the poker game, I pulled out and started to drive Roman back. I drove all of 30 feet when I got killed by one of the baddies with a pistol shot to the head from across the street. To my knowledge I hadn't even been injured before that... it seemed to be a freak shot.

When I restarted I goofed off for a bit, beat some people with a bat and figured out the sprinting. I was hoping the people in town carried more cash... evidently not.

I sat in Roman's apartment and watched glorious american television, inlcuding a stand-up bit from comdian Ricky Gervais. Funny stuff!

I started sprinting down the road and punching people to get them chasing me. Smacked a cop and he started shooting at me, so I grabbed the nearest vehicle - a FAGGIO - and got my 500 ft (or yard, whatever) wheelie cheevo while being chased (and eventually ran over by) cop cars. LOL wheelie achievement on a Faggio...

Yes, since the other parts of the city are closed off, you'll automatically get a six star rating if you try to cross, either by bridge or water. One of the bridges has a pedestrian walk over (the "Brooklyn" bridge), and there's a pistola up there. If you can get to that point & manage to dodge the heli fire, you may be able to get that 10 minute achievement - there's not much cover, tho.

I got the six star achievement by flying a helicopter over one of the locked islands and then Flying around apparently if you are high enough they wont even shoot at you. Kinda a wimpy way to do it but I wasn't even thinking about getting the achievement until it popped up because it was the first time I was in a helicopter and I was trying to do stunts with it and I was way up high because I didnt want to crash.
