I have to say this game is growing on me quite a bit. I really like the way the different cars feel, that is a big plus, as well as all the ways you can crash, etc. The core gameplay is still pretty weak but I've gotten used to it to make killing people fun. Just wish it didn't feel so unresponsive and sluggish. If they improved the gameplay the game would be a lot better, still a very fun game so far. I've played a little multiplayer as well and it is pretty fun and seems like it has a lot of potential.

If all of you are just sticking to the missions, that may be why you aren't enjoying it as much. I tend to do about 25% missions when I play, 75% just doing random stuff - like running down the street pushing people down (yes, it IS fun), or finding the 'flying rats' to shoot. Last night, I finally opened the middle island & had fun with the heli, and was trying to land it on all the buildings, the bridge, and stole a couple boats... Still, I like cruising more than anything - the city is just kickass realistic at times.

Nice!! I'll have to check that out! Yesterday I was having fun stealing the BIG trucks and going on massive damage campaigns - but the phone kept ringing.
I'll have to put the cell on sleep and try again. It was great having all these cops trying to put the pit maneuver on me and me just ramming them into other cars, buildings, people etc

are you guys sure you're not still getting calls with your phone on sleep... thus your 'friends' think you're ignoring them? Would that bring your friend rating down?

Why do you gots to lie man, The game is not in Competition with your Precious GOW, and you barely even played the singleplayer. We played MP and within an hour & a Half you started Pwning in Team Death Match with me. I think you got the shooting down for the most part, you just need to work on your driving. This guy is like on the 2nd mission and is going through the Phase most of you guys where taking about, The slow boring beginning, just wait until you open stuff up, Find more things to do, and meet new NPC's (Non player Characters aka computer characters) thats when the fun starts kicking in. Going on Dates, playing games, drinking and driving, flying, taking cab rides, looking for hookers, ditching cops, punking people in the streets, etc...
I bet you'll end up drinking then playing some darts and pool most the time...sounds like something you'll do.
Pickle: "I dont care much for the game, but im not gonna trade it in because Playing pool in the bars is AWESOME!"

Have to agree with Alpha, here. The game kind of stinks in the beginning, the multiplayer is broken (shouldn't have even included it at this stage) and the controls take some getting used to. I didn't like it that much at first, either.
I jumped on tonight to play a couple of missions and literally spent two hours doing missions and probably one hour of watching TV. Most of the shows are damn funny!
What I'm trying to say is, multiplayer isn't where this game is at. Spend a good couple hours in the single player, and you'll probably find yourself hooked.
