| There was some nice GRAW2 online action last night. Very fun night with some capture the flag, team terrority, solo action, and one co-op mission.
We'll have to do some more soon. With the superbowl, it may be two weeks though, but I'll be on Sunday for those who want to play anyway.

Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Vancouver, Wa. Age: 38 | Confirmed: the new GRAW 2 coop dlc will cost 400 MS points.
Not confirmed: when it's released. I've been reading the ubi forums, and people are saying they received an email stating the 800 msp cost, and that it was on XBL Marketplace - but it isn't there yet (I'm logged on as I type).
Could be they are still in the process of adding it - who knows. All I know is that it's just infront of those of us who are getting it.
Speaking of... who's getting it?

Reason: had the price wrong; earlier email said 800, newer emails say 400... and I added the video link

Anyone unsure if GRAW 2 is worth your time: It's hella fun, and has more to offer as far as maps, gametypes, weapon choices, sp/mp... and much of that is free! Considering this is an older game, you can buy it dirt cheap. Plus it has up to 16-player matches.
Anyway, there seems to be some confusion about the actual cost... some are saying they received an email saying 800 (and they have the proof to back it up), and others are saying they got an email saying 400 (and they have proof to back it up), so I may have got a bit jumpy with my last post. I'm watching it like a hawk... As soon as I see an actual post from Kimi, I'll let you all know...
I can't wait to shoot WoodGhost in the face while he's bleeding to death on them new maps!

I've always considered RB6 and GRAW to be in the same vein. I'd probably do a lot better with them if I committed to them. I have a notoriously short attention span. I finally got over that for Halo3 and have played a little better. I should probably do the same for GRAW/RB6 knowing everyone will be playing Rb6:2 shortly...

I understand how it goes, so no worries. It's a lot different when you're playing vs. compared to doing the coop modes (which are fun, too), and seem a lot faster, and more intense. With the new maps coming, I'm probably going to be pushing for more GRAW games with people both from here and elsewhere.
Hell, I should just start up a damn GRAW site...

Either that, or they're changing it to put the new info up. They're probably just being jerks, tho. Damn French...

| What do you expect from people who don't like to bathe? They prefer to put on more toilet water.
400 M$ is not a bad deal. That's only $5. There is a good chance I may go for for at that cost.

Ok, here's the word.
Co-op collection is approved and scheduled for release tomorrow.
Obviously Kimi was supposed to make that announcement, but the forum outage prevented her from doing so.
As such, you get the announcement, such as it is, from little old me.
I have no info on price, supposedly that'll be released tomorrow as well.
| ...and there you have it. | |

Thanks a lot Ubi. | |

| | Banned | New GRAW 2 maps, weapons and co-op content [update]
Posted Jan 29th 2008 2:15PM by Dustin Burg
Filed under: News, Xbox Live Marketplace, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 Update: The Co-op Collection is now on the XBLM (shame on us for doubting Ubi), but the More Guns Pack is still MIA.
Ubisoft's UK forum manager posted an official press release on the Ubisoft forums telling of new GRAW 2 downloadable content that's scheduled to make its way to the XBLM today. We say scheduled, because it has yet to make it there and to be frank, daylight is running out.
The new 800 Microsoft point Co-op Collection DLC will feature five new co-op missions, a total of nine new multiplayer maps (seven of them being remakes) and nine new achievements totaling 125 Gamerscore. Ubisoft is also giving away a free More Guns Pack download that'll add seven new weapons to GRAW 2's single player campaign. Again, both the Co-op Collection and More Guns Pack DLC should be available sometime today, but we have a hunch that the content will make an appearance sometime later this week. Our fingers are crossed though.
