Bought it, was going through training and locked up every time.

Kind of a bummer. Anyone else locking up during this game?

Yep, first thing I did when I put it in for the first time.

Strange...I have not been able to get past training. I have played as far as getting my team and reaching the troop carrier to destroy, then locked up.

Maybe I'll just skip training, I've been to boot anyway.

Oh well, back to Rainbow 6 until the next patch.

Hmmm I played the game all day yesterday and had no problems. I need to do the trianing again because I missed one achievement, only got 4 of the 5 headshots.

I hate to say this but when games start locking up it's usually a sign that your 360 is on the way out. My second 360 was working fine then all of the sudden it kept locking up on Chromehounds then blamo dead.

Not to be obvious, but that's a bad sign about your box man.

I too played all day yesterday and didn't have the slightest hiccup. But, that's what happened to me with Dead Rising right before my box kicked the bucket.

Good luck with that. It's a shame, the game is a good time.

I've noticed that during some of the cutscenes that the video will "hiccup", but no lockups thus far.

Yeah, I played a bit yesterday and had no problems with the training mission.

Anyway mine was fine also, but I haven't finished the training yet. I can't wait to try this out on multiplayer.

Am I the only person here who's a little (read: WAY) disappointed with the sound in this game?

After coming off R6V, I'm really let down by the gun sounds here.

I haven't played this much, but I imagine it will be very hard for games to live up to R6V in terms of sound.

I didn't notice the gun sound too much, but I did think the ambient sound was pretty top notch in most of the levels. The cat's fighting in some of the mexico city levels were driving me crazy, I kep thinking it was our neighbor.

This game has locked up my Xbox 5 times since Fri night. Had to shut off my Xbox & start over, anyone else having this problem, or do I just have a bad disc? I'll probably take it back to the store & exchange it. Haven't had this problem with any other games.

I haven't had any lockups yet and I have a couple hours on single player.

Well I finished act 2 and got a good start on act 3. Act 2 was at least twice as long as act 1. Now if act 3 is twice as long as act 2 this will turn out to be a decent SP game.
