If so, forgive me, some can miss a post just a few posts a way sometimes. Keep trying, we'll get it straight for you.
And welcome to PGL! | |

2nd. Enter your 360's IP into your routers DMZ.
3rd. Open these ports - UDP 88, UDP & TCP 3074, and UDP & TCP 22042
4th. For testing, turn off routers firewall, and any other security modes.
That should be enough to get Open. Are you connecting wireless? Oh, you might also try doing a factory reset on your router. Make sure you remember any settings such as a DSL PPOE name and password first though. You can find your factory reset options online. This might give you a clean start.

| Did you you open the appropriate ports?
EDIT* Serren beat me to it(I keep threads open in tabs). He's right though.
Also, check Xbox.com to see what firmware for your router you need. I had to use an older one for mine for a while.

| For some reason my Linksys router didn't do jack squat when I placed the 360 in the DMZ. I ended up having to turn off uPNP and open the ports manually. Very strange. | |

The IP's should/have to be unique. Just keep an eye on the 360's IP address. Mine has been jumping around a bit, thus removing itself from the port forwarding. It is an easy fix, you just have to check for it.
The ports are listed above. Enter them for each 360's IP. You might want to try turning off the routers firewall also...

i know all the firewalls are off, thats always the first thing to go on the routers i get....i'll try some port forwarding if i havent already.

Don't be scared of assigning statics. It's really not that bad. Most people just don't want to bother and may think that it's some difficult nerd thing.
