What and how is the reputation button used on/for on this site? I just noticed it today and didnt know what it was for. Also, dont know if this is on all skins, but the 360 one, there are 2 buttons for rep under the posters name.

Your rep ties directly into the green dot under your post count; right now, with very few exceptions, just about everyone is at 1 dot.

The scales on hex and the "rep" buttons allow you to add rep points to someone for posting info, helping out, or whatever.

At somepoint we hope to tie rep in with other things...but that is going to be down the line. It may be that certain features will unlock...we still have a lot of work to do.

For now it is a another great feature of our new software that we hope ties our community together by allowing you to give recognition to other members for their contributions. As we develop our plan further we will post more in regards to reputation.

Sorry if I don't have much more to add right now.

Also, I was planning on sending an email out today in regards to the 2 buttons, but I ended up getting a little side tracked....

Nah - this one is a bit different. It doesn't do the stars thing where if someone dings you, you can never make your stars back. This one is a bit different and a little bit better thought out. We'll flesh it out when we have some time but for now its simply there and we're focusing on a few other things!

Wow, nothing new on this front yet unfortunately. Rhino said he had a whole game plan and stuff, then he went on a safari, took out a few jeeps with a nudge of his head and ran off into the sunset. Maybe we can find him roaming the aural planes and figure out what he had in mind.
