| I have a T-Mobile Dash that runs Windows Mobile 6.0 (about to upgrade to 6.1). I pay about $75 a month for unlimited data, several hundred text messages, 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited weekends (or evenings... one or the other). I check 4 different email addresses each with its own inbox, outbox, etc. I sync up with my outlook calendar and to do list. Overall this is the best smartphone I've ever owned. | |

The interface is easy to move through and I set up an icon for my gmail and yahoo mail. Very easy to do. If you are going with sprint, you get a sprint.blackberry.net email address also. The desktop and media manager software is pretty good and easy to follow; and there are tons of apps both pay and free online for BlackBerrys.
I'm not sure if it changed with the $99 unlim plan, but when I got it, I was told I needed the BlackBerry data plan. It is basically all inclusive, unlim data, text, pic mail(through email), and navigation (blackberry has its own, but sprint also offers the service) for $30; With my old plan of $40 for 1000 min and unlim N&W. total $70 plus taxes.
Just a bit of advice. If you are getting a BB phone, make sure you play around with it a lot within the grace period to return the phone and make sure you will have no problems. After about 4 weeks with my BB Pearl, the roller ball started to become a little unresponsive sometimes. I didn't get sprint's warranty plan and they wanted to charge me to fix it.

ive used a BB pearl before, i couldnt get the hang of the trackball on it, i know a few others that own, it seems to be one of those things that you either love or you hate

| Interesting on the battery issue Name. My dash will hold a charge for like 3 days if I don't use it too much. But if I use it alot in one day I can kill the battery before the day is over. I wonder if I need a new battery? | |

| Wow - only $10 - it might be worth it to have another one anyway. That's not a bad deal at all. Thankfully mine isn't that bad yet, but never hurts to have another one laying around eh? | |
