Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Sterling Heights, MI Age: 39 | Reccomendation needed I'm about to donate an older PC and would like to ensure any and all personal items are removed before I do. Any opinions on free or cheap software to achieve this?

| Snake - your other option is to donate it after you've removed the disk drives. Then take the drives apart and take your aggression out on them by beating the crap out of them with a hammer or whatnot. Then mail the pieces separately to Hobie and Lil g. | |

| For the record - formatting a drive doesn't delete all of the information on the drive. Only writing over all portions of the drive in which there was data previously will do that. | |
