Thanks to the efforts of a couple of our favorite PGLers, we've been added to a site that reviews rental services. I have e-mailed the moderator with some corrections to a few of his statements, but there is also an area for people to post their thoughts on GYG. If you have a moment and would like to share your views on us, please go to this site. Thanks!

I tried to post a review but the site won't let me. I get an error Form Not Sent. I notice that GYG isn't listed on their list of Rental sites yet so maybe they are still working on it.

OH no I check and its still going there. Thats crap!!!! They say theirs no such thing as bad advertising though.

I'll try again when it's working. In the meantime, could the author of the article learn to spell?

we especially like their long narrative descriptions, much better than a short blurb for judging if a game is any god.

They only give this option to customers who have been a member for over a month, a fair caution to deter scanners.

I don't about his criticisms though. My only experience is with Netflix. Sure being charged for a lost game sucks, but I understand it. I've used it a couple times with Netflix, but the movies eventually came, and would just send them back when I did recieve the movie. I thought it was funny about "unreliable" US Postal Service. Where does this occur? For an organization as large as it is, and sure volumne of what they handle, I say it's pretty damn reliable.

I thought his value rating was a bit on the low side. From what I know of online game retenals, I would say it's at least a four star. I don't necessarily disagree about the free trial thing, but it's not the first online service to offer it. Heck, I use VOIP.com and do the annual pay option, and if you do that, no free trial, and even a bigger pain if you transfer the right away like I did. Luckily it worked for me; although I had to buy more adapter.

Yeah, we've had some question about the criticisms. It's not to say that we're not without fault, but what issues are brought up are pretty standard in the industry. We have addressed the "no free trial" issue, because we'll soon have a 50% discount during the first month. Hopefully that will help.

At any rate, it's good to get our name out there. Hopefully it will encourage people to give us a try, because our approval rating once people become a customer is very high.
