You rooting for Arizona this weekend over USC, AZ?
Hopefully the Huskers will bounce back and tear Troy apart this weekend.

Living in Cincy, I don't really have a good college team to cheer for. The Bearcats are decent, but I just don't really get too into UC sports. Even basketball!
Good luck in Troy! | |

I pity the poor fools of Troy; they could be walking into a buzzsaw in Lincoln. If they don't win by at least 30, I'll be disappointed.

Speaking of, UGA has a pretty easy game this weekend against Colorado, who is really, really terrible this year. When we scheduled the game, UGA fans were happy because Colorado was a semi-descent team. Now it's a gimme game. Oh well. I'm still wearing my UGA gear in honor of Game-Day-Eve

That was definitely the concern with Odell. He's a thug at heart, and it's tough to break him of those bad habits.
As for Pollack....what a sad, sad event. I was pretty heartbroken when I heard the news on Monday. I stream Atlanta sports stations on my computer, and that was pretty much the topic all day. Just sad...but if anyone could come back from that, it would be Pollack. He's not going to give up, that's for damn sure. Kid's got more heart than Rudy.
I THINK you guys still have our old fullback though....Jeremy Thomas. I don't know if he's still on the roster though.

Ive noticed a trend here in Ohio over the years. When Browns fans become disgruntled enough(very very frequent), they stop watching altogether and out the blue, they become Buckeyes fans
Ive asked many why they drop a pro team and go straight to a college team and some say its the fact that the buckeyes are always good so they know when they watch games they wont be cussing the entire time.
Personally I stopped watching all football in the mid 90's, its just not the same as when I watched starting in the early 80s
If I figure out why I am posting this, I'll get back with an update

| All you ND haters can suck it(at least this week). I'm glad they could finally pull the lucky lepracauhn out of there arses and win. VT, always dominate, MD... hey they WON. Even if it was against Florida(international). Hope all your teams did well this week | |

Troy burned us for 140 total yards. It was a nailbiter there for awhile, but we finally pulled it out 56-0.
Hoping the rest of our games aren't that close.

| Dang. While Michigan pulled it out and my wife was happy, my Bruins forgot how to play football and looked horrible! I turned it off when the turnovers put 14 points on the board for Washington. I couldn't bear to watch anymore of that. I hope we can remember how to drive down the field by passing only to our own players before we meet up with Stanford next week. | |

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Westwood, CA Age: 32 | The Dawgs almost gave me a heart attack on Saturday. We threw a touchdown pass with 40 seconds left to take the lead by 1. Keep in mind that this was a team we were supposed to destroy....the spread was 24 points. Yeah, we didn't quite cover.
We were sitting with around 40 Dawg fans in a local UCLA bar that gets taken over by UGA fans on Saturdays. There was a lot of yelling, throwing things, beating the crap out of walls, and general disdain. Coincidentally, much liquor was purchased as the game progressed as well.
Anyway, we pulled out a win that we did NOT deserve, but at least we won. I'll take it. But our offense looked like a warm pile of poo...so adjustments are more than needed at this point.
