For the first year in a long time, I was totally disinterested with baseball BEFORE the all-star break. My Rangers were out of it before they even left the gate.
I just pray they got some decent pitching in return for Texiera in the Atlanta deal last week.

A-rod will break it next. Hopefully we don't need to place an * next to his name also.

Bud Selig decided to skip the Barry Bonds show Tuesday, opting to attend meetings regarding George Mitchell's never-ending steroid investigation. Major League Baseball was instead represented by executive vice president Jimmie Lee Solomon and Hall of Famer Frank Robinson, a special assistant in the commissioner's office. Most likely it was Solomon's job to whisper horrific and disgusting things in Robinson's ear whenever Bonds was at bat in order to capture the same look Selig would have had on his face had he decided to attend.
| Speaking of Selig, I've never seen anyone go out of his way (and by out of his way I am talking about his self-proclaimed "herculean" effort to attend Bond's last eight games or so) to show is feeling by not applauding Bond's 755th home run. I'm no Bonds fan, but that whole thing with Selig was just weird. | |

So....How bout dem Yanks?!?!? | Yanks? A-Rod is a dirty ass player, other than that I don't know about them yanks, lol
Selig's reaction at 755 was funny though, did some crap in his coffee?
My best friend and dad were at the Giants game (season ticket holders), he said that was the 2nd time he witnessed his dad cry. Well they are pretty die-hard Giants fans, though my buddy thinks it is a shame that the entire thing is so tainted. At least it wasn't against the Dodgers as there would have been lots of booing at the stadium.

All and all, Barry bonds is not only a jag in real life, but he is a cheater and Hank Aaron showed too much class by saying congrats to him.
