UbiSoft says "Oops!"

Those kids at NeoGAF have struck again, shifting through Ubisoft's FTP and discovering a 2GB file containing a bevy of concept art and other media for upcoming and announced game releases -- whoops!

The .RAR file featured 17 games in total, with concept art, video files, and screen shots. Included were:

# Assassins Creed
# Far Cry 2 (unannounced)
# Far Cry PSP (unannounced)
# Far Cry Wii
# Lost
# Naruto 360
# Open Season
# Prince of Persia (unannounced, except for Wii)
# Rainbow Six: Vegas
# Rocky PSP (unannounced)
# Splinter Cell Double Agent
# Splinter Cell 5 (unannounced)
# Surf's Up (unannounced)
# Star Wars PSP (unannounced)
# Shaun White Snowboarding
# Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
# TMNT GBA

While this snafu doesn't appear too great for Ubisoft, let's examine the damage: people know they're working on sequels to their best-selling franchises, but who didn't expect that? A new Prince of Persia? Obvious. Splinter Cell 5? As long as Double Agent doesn't tank, that's expected. Far Cry 2? Surprise, surprise.

Atleast it's not as bad as having someone discover your source code and decides to share it with the entire community ala Half-Life 2. That would suck.

Kind of states the obvious. As you said, nothing we didnt see coming. I am still itching for RB6.
