fight the man for your nerdery!

Today, more than ever before, gamers need to stand together to defend against political activity that is threatening the creation and publishing of video games. On behalf of the gaming community, the ECA lobbies legislators directly as well as launching grassroots digital initiatives to preserve our rights as gamers.

It's true! Politcians have been trying to pass laws, in certain states, that are the equivelent to laws on guns and drugs. Now, while we can all agree that gaming can be habit forming ... I think that we can ALSO all agree that we can hardly be deemed as dangers to society! "Oh noes! Here comes a gamer! Hide your valuables. They might gank us!!!!"

The Entertainment Consumers Association (ECA) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit membership organization established to serve the needs of those who play computer and video games. Formed in 2006, the ECA is an advocacy organization for consumers of interactive entertainment.

This is where the questions always come up. "YOU MEAN I HAVE TO PAY!?" Like any non for profit, memberships are what enables the group to run and do it's job. Employees and advocates are paid to lobby the government on our behalf, marketing dollars are spent to educate and inform.
Your money also allows you to take advantage of some great members discounts and services that can be found here.
call of duty is definetely like...herion.?
