Old skool fridge, yo!

I have a 1954 Philco refrigerator with its original manual. I'm thinking it might be worth something (the thing is in nice shape!).


Anyone know someone who might want it or how I can find out if its worth anything?

Can they get out of these new fangled ones? I've been meaning to try it, but it hadn't even occured to me that they might have a failsafe now. That's how i was always going to punish my kid... Now I'll have to think of a back-up plan. I guess making him watch American Idol may do it.

Fun Fact: The Delorean in Back to the Future was originally going to be a fridge until Robert Zemekis got too worried that kids would lock themselves in and die. So he decided to use a car.

If they push it open, yeah. The old ones, like mine, have a pull-down lever to open. There isn't one on the inside.


I already have a time machine and I'm not sharing. It only allows me to travel 20 minutes into the future and requires me to flush it.
