Flippin' Cold

Walking to class this morning. Takes about 15 minutes. The temperature:

-7* F and the windchill is -24* F.


The National Weather Service prediction isn't "partly cloudy" or "scattered flurrries". No, it's "COLD." As long as I'm going to walking around in "Lost Planet" environs, I want a grappling hook. Here's hoping I can survive.

Cold here too, although not as bad as where you are. We were -10 with the windchill, but I didn't walk anywhere. Thankfully, the subways are hotter than July in New Orleans so it's a refreshing change.

Watch out for those giant underground worms man, they're deadly although full of T-ENG.

hahaha, well yesterday was a cold day, NOT! We were in the low 80's here in So Cal! I must tell you though, I hate this weather. I want four discrete seasons!! None of this guessing how cold or hot it will be in the winter!!!

Isn't Wednesday suppose to be the coldest day this wk? High of like 5 degrees F or something crazy. Why do I put up with this crap? I'm SO glad the new house has an attached garage. No ice or snow to clean off the car in the morning and when it's crazy cold out, the temp in the car isn't as bad. It's about 25 degrees warmer in the garage.

Jon is crazy. Having the weather pretty much the same all the time is awesome. If I want cold I'll drive 2 hours up to Big Bear and play in the snow. Then come back to my house and chill in my pool.

It's just a personal preference, I guess . I'd rather go skiing within a few minutes distance and playing in the snow as opposed to playing in the pool during the winter!!

Big Bear is... eh... the snow sucks and is usually fake snow anyway. Last time I went there it was so warm that I didn't need my jacket or gloves or even long sleeves. On top of that, it was warm enough to melt the snow into ice. Going down a double black on ice, I ended up falling and scraping up my hands!

Give me Colorado or Utah snow anyday!!!

Dude, my car BARELY started. when it did, it sounded like a cylinder wasn't even working. I wish I had KY to rub on the engine to insulate it from the freakin wind!


I even got a check engine light when I left work that went away after it warmed up a lil.
