Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Hendersonville, North Carolina Age: 40 | I love you too, Keezy... Last night, i sit down at the TV and fire up the 360. The wife sits down next to me after few minutes and we're just chillin', talking while I try out Lost Planet (which is good btw... if you can survive the boring opening scenes). A message pops up from Keezy. I open it up. It says...
"I love you."
Nothing else. Naturally, since it's on my big screen and relatively hard to hide, my wife reads it out loud. Then she looks at me as if to say, "O.K. You're freaking me out with your friends at that website." I immediately start laughing, not really knowing what to say. It takes a few minutes to explain to my wife, who has already started telling me how I'll never set foot in the state of Ohio, that yes, Keezy is an orange gay man that prowls the pregamelobby site. I further explain that he somehow believes that everyone at the site is gay too, and that everyone's afraid to tell him otherwise, because he's really fun to have around and no one wants him to leave, etc, etc, etc.
So I message him back and tell him he's freaking my wife out.
He messages me again and says "LOL. sorry, it was in reference to Madden." Not wanting Keezy to really think she was freaking, I sent him a quick voice message saying it's all good, asking what he's playing tonight. A few minutes later, I get another message from Keezy. It says:
"Blank."
I think to myself, Hmmmm. I don't get that one. Keezy's got a funny sense of humor.
Later, Cujo sent me a text asking if I liked Lost Planet and if he should buy that or crackdown. So I reply with a voice message, giving him my 30 second synopsis of the whole deal. A few minutes later, Cujo sends a chat invite. I jump in and start talking. "Hey, what's going on? Haven't seen you in a fe.."
"Dude," Cujo says, "I'm sure that was a brilliant review of Lost Planet, but you're gonna have to turn your mic on if you want me to hear you."
I immediately start laughing, then say "Oh man, my bad, I muted it the oth..."
"Dude. You still don't have it on, do you?" I'm an idiot. If I "talked" to anyone else last night, my apologies.

| Dude, don't feel bad about the mic thing. I've done that more times then I care to say.
And about Keezy, you don't need to worry until he sends you a picture of himself with nothing on except for a Bengals sock...........just one sock.

That is scary - I hope that Keezy doesn't send me any naked pictures...

While Keezy was staying with us, I came home and threw on the lights and our living room was like the rest stop scene from Something About Mary. All I heard was "I was just peeing too" from everyone while they scurried away.

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Sacramento, CA Age: 37 | Hitchhiker: You heard of this thing, the 8-Minute Abs?
Ted: Yeah, sure, 8-Minute Abs. Yeah, the excercise video.
Hitchhiker: Yeah, this is going to blow that right out of the water. Listen to this: 7... Minute... Abs.
Ted: Right. Yes. OK, all right. I see where you're going.
Hitchhiker: Think about it. You walk into a video store, you see 8-Minute Abs sittin' there, there's 7-Minute Abs right beside it. Which one are you gonna pick, man?
Ted: I would go for the 7.
Hitchhiker: Bingo, man, bingo. 7-Minute Abs. And we guarantee just as good a workout as the 8-minute folk.
Ted: You guarantee it? That's - how do you do that?
Hitchhiker: If you're not happy with the first 7 minutes, we're gonna send you the extra minute free. You see? That's it. That's our motto. That's where we're comin' from. That's from "A" to "B".
Ted: That's right. That's - that's good. That's good. Unless, of course, somebody comes up with 6-Minute Abs. Then you're in trouble, huh?
[Hitchhiker convulses]
Hitchhiker: No! No, no, not 6! I said 7. Nobody's comin' up with 6. Who works out in 6 minutes? You won't even get your heart goin, not even a mouse on a wheel.
Ted: That - good point.
Hitchhiker: 7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 doors. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office.
Ted: Why?
Hitchhiker: 'Cause you're freakin' fired!

So emberassing. I mean sheesh..now Keezy is mocking me indirectly through Wondermonkey while I'm at the workplace.
Damn he's good! | |
