It's no surprise, really. It's kinda a fitting end... they haven't played with any heart the last several weeks, so I figured them for a one and done in the playoffs. They kept doing everything they could to give away games- and you can't do that in the playoffs. Congrats to the Seahawks. Sadly, they really didn't look that great either, but hey, win a couple and that's all it takes, right?
The Cowboys seriously need some help for Ware on the D-line. They got no pressure on the QB in the second half of the season after Ellis went down. Bobby Carpenter played well against the Seahawks, but all things considered the defense just hasn't been there. They've got some serious issues at safety. Roy Williams made the Pro Bowl this year on reputation only. The guy hits like a beast... but he got burned over and over and over by TE's and RB's this year. He can't cover. Period. It may be time to go ahead and make the guy a linebacker or something. And the Weak Safety? forget it...
